Residents

The Residents section is the heart of BoolCare. Every piece of care documentation — care plans, risk assessments, daily notes, forms — is linked to a resident record.

Adding a new resident

  1. Click Residents in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add resident.
  3. Fill in the resident's details and click Save.

Managing contacts

In addition to the emergency contact stored on the main profile, you can add multiple contacts (family members, GPs, social workers) via the Contacts tab on the resident profile.

Resident status

A resident can have one of three statuses:

Status Meaning
Active Currently in your care
Discharged Has left the home
Deceased Has passed away

To change a resident's status, open their profile, click the status badge, and select the new status. Discharged and deceased residents are hidden from the main residents list but remain accessible for records.
